Sasuke put some food on Naruto's plate.

Naturally, the workers around them couldn't resist teasing them, calling him a child bride and the like.

At first, Sasuke had been furious, but as time passed, he had gotten used to it.

Soon, after a pleasant meal together, everyone went back to work. Naruto went to the kitchen to clean up.

Sasuke changed his clothes and got ready for school.

As soon as he entered the kitchen with Aunt Ichiraku and Hongle, Naruto formed hand seals and used the Yamanaka Secret Technique to tell them what might happen next.

Naruto stressed that if any ninja from the village came to investigate, they had to cooperate.

He also told them to work with his apprentices and the others to explain his working circumstances at Juxia Tower, so Konoha High Command wouldn't suspect Aunt Ichiraku and Hongle after he became weak.

Sure enough, after hearing Naruto's grave words, Aunt Ichiraku and Hongle nodded in shock.

"Little Chef, Master, we don't know what happened, but rest assured, we'll always keep your words in mind."

"Master, we'll take good care of Juxia Tower."

Naruto nodded in relief, then turned and left.

Watching Naruto walk away, Aunt Ichiraku couldn't hold back her tears.

"That boy has had a hard life since he was little. He's so clever, yet one disaster forced the label of ill omen onto him."

"Ah, we have to believe in Master. Believe that he'll get through this crisis safely."

"Yes. We might not be able to do anything for Little Master, but running Juxia Tower well is the greatest comfort we can offer him."

Meanwhile, Naruto and Sasuke walked hand in hand down the street.

Seeing how troubled Naruto looked, Sasuke asked with concern, "What's wrong? You've looked unhappy ever since you
