The Withered Bone Plain was a peculiar place. Gravity there was a hundred times stronger than in Asgard, and ordinary creatures that entered were doomed to die.
Every year, birds and animals strayed into the area, only to be crushed until they burst under its immense gravity.
Their remains left the plain littered with corpses and bleached bones, earning it the name Withered Bone Plain.
What people did not know was that this was also where Manni, the God of Strength, slumbered. As a god of strength, he could use the intense gravity to temper his body and increase his power. In fact, Manni had specially transformed the Withered Bone Plain into a training ground for himself.
After leaving the Dark Abyss, Loki headed straight for the Withered Bone Plain. Several hours later, he finally arrived.
Hovering high in the sky, Loki looked down over the plain. Weathered bones stretched as far as he could see.
At the sight, Loki willed a black tide to gather on the ground, then slowly rise.
Soon, hundreds upon thousands of Shadow Ninjas appeared outside the Withered Bone Plain, resembling a vast black ocean.
At the same time, Loki's voice rang out. "Go. Find where Manni is sleeping."
At his command, the Shadow Ninjas immediately sprang into action.
One after another, they leaped into the Withered Bone Plain.
As the Shadow Ninjas entered, the plain's hundredfold gravity seemed to lose its power, having no effect on them whatsoever.
Their bodies were composed entirely of dark energy. In essence, the Shadow Ninjas were like air.
Terrifying though hundredfold gravity might be, it had no effect when applied to air. Thus, the Withered Bone Plain, which ordinary people feared like a deadly beast, was nothing more than a backyard to the Shadow Ninjas. They could come
