Loki was somewhat surprised, but he naturally refused to admit it. Instead, he put on a friendly smile.
"Vali, what are you thinking? There's no bad blood between us. Why would I kill you?"
As he spoke, he arrived before a stone palace. This was where Vali had been sleeping.
Just then, a figure emerged from the palace. A bow and arrows were strapped to his back, and his bare upper body revealed powerful muscles. He was Vali, the god of vengeance!
Looking at the blatantly false smile on Loki's face, Vali snorted disdainfully. "If you want a fight, then fight. Quit putting on an act. Take this!"
With that, Vali took the longbow off his back, condensed his divine power into an arrow, and fired it at Loki.
The arrow flew so fast that it reached Loki in an instant, making his pupils contract.
With no time to think, Loki abruptly bent backward and dodged the arrow.
Even so, a searing pain spread across his face. The gust raised by the arrow as it passed above his face had injured him.
Seeing this, Vali did not hesitate. He kept firing, sending three streaks of light tearing through the air toward Loki.
This time, the three arrows formed a triangle, cutting off his escape routes and leaving him no room to dodge.
Left with no choice, Loki activated the Mind Stone and made his body intangible, letting the arrows pass straight through him.
At the same time, Loki launched his counterattack.
Although he did not know how Vali had seen through his intentions, his goal was to eliminate him.
Even if Vali was prepared, Loki was confident in his own strength. A mere god was no match for him.
With a thought, Loki made Lava Trolls abruptly appear beside Vali.
