Baron Mordo spoke arrogantly. Druid wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his expression still calm.

"I don't need to defeat you. I only need to hold you here."

"What do you mean?"

Baron Mordo's brow furrowed instantly. Druid's words suddenly filled him with a sense of foreboding.

Druid did not answer. He merely chuckled and turned toward the room behind him.

Baron Mordo followed his gaze. Suddenly, the tightly shut door slowly opened, and a youthful figure stepped out.

At the sight, Baron Mordo looked as though he had seen a ghost. Terror flooded his face in an instant.

"Impossible! Aren't you supposed to be seriously injured? How can you still move?"

He spoke in disbelief, while everyone around him bowed in unison. "Greetings, Sorcerer Supreme!"

The Ancient One waved a hand, and a vast force immediately lifted them to their feet. Only then did she speak slowly. "There is no need for such formalities."

After this, the composed Ancient One finally turned her gaze to Baron Mordo.

"Do you understand what you have done wrong?"

The Ancient One spoke softly. Her tone was gentle, her words filled with utter calm, without the slightest ripple of emotion.

Yet the moment she spoke, Baron Mordo trembled and nearly fell to the ground.

As the Ancient One's disciple, he understood better than anyone how terrifying she was. He also knew that the moment she appeared before them unharmed, his betrayal had become a complete joke.

No one would support him now except his disciple, Kaecilius.

Even so, he had no intention of yielding. He had no way back and could only follow this path to its bitter end. Gritting his teeth, he thrust out his chest. "What have I done wrong?"
