Dormammu laughed as he searched for the Ancient One, but soon his expression froze, then filled with rage. "Where is she?!"
With that, he shot Doctor Doom a vicious glare, his expression demanding an explanation.
But Doctor Doom had no intention of indulging him. He ignored him entirely and turned to fly toward Mephisto.
Dormammu's expression turned utterly foul. Fortunately, he realized that he had lost his composure. Doctor Doom was not his subordinate.
Just then, Mephisto's voice came from nearby. "So, are you coming back with us?"
Dormammu shook his head without hesitation.
"I still have something to take care of. You two go ahead."
At that, Mephisto gave him a strange look. "You're not planning to break your promise and run off, are you?"
"Of course not!"
Dormammu raised his voice, sounding rather embarrassed and angry at having his intentions exposed.
Seeing this, Mephisto shook his head. "I'd advise you not to do that. Otherwise, the next time you get into trouble, no one will come to save you."
"Also, a reminder: Zarathos went back too. Apparently, someone nearly killed him, and that's why he fled."
"So the Blue Planet isn't as simple as you think."
As Dormammu listened to Mephisto's advice, his initially dismissive expression changed.
"Is that true?"
"Do you think I'd deceive you with a lie that could be exposed so easily?"
"Understood."
Dormammu nodded solemnly, taking Mephisto's words to heart.
Although he did not know much about Zarathos, he knew that he was powerful. If even Zarathos had nearly been killed, the Blue Planet was clearly not as weak as he had imagined.
