Bang!
Dormammu slammed into the ground, the searing pain making his face twitch and twist into a grimace.
"You bastard! Damn you, I'll kill you!"
Dormammu roared.
Rage surged from deep within him as he glared viciously at Ratso, his eyes brimming with savage fury.
Ratso paid him no mind. He curled his lips and crooked a finger at Dormammu in a taunting gesture, dripping with contempt.
"Be destroyed!"
Dormammu clenched both hands hard in Ratso's direction. Instantly, the space around Ratso shattered, then swept toward him.
Ratso raised an eyebrow at the sight. "Not bad."
With that, he vanished on the spot.
A moment later, shattered space engulfed the place where he had stood. Spatial rifts flashed one after another, a sight that made the scalp prickle.
It was easy to imagine that any creature caught in there would be sliced into a thousand pieces by the spatial rifts alone.
But no matter how powerful an attack was, it still had to hit its target. If it missed, it was all for show.
Just like now. When Ratso appeared beside Dormammu, Dormammu's eyes widened, and he blurted out, "How are you here?"
"Where else should I be?"
Ratso spoke with an amused expression, then drove another punch into the bridge of Dormammu's nose. Once again, Dormammu's screams rang through the air.
One good trick could take you a long way, and that was exactly the case for Ratso. With the Shadow Kingdom's ability to teleport, he had been unbeatable from the very start.
Dormammu had plenty of tricks, but none of them mattered if he couldn't hit his opponent.
He had considered restraining Ratso, too. But unless he severed Ratso's connection to the Shadow Kingdom, ordinary restraints would accomplish nothing.
For a time, Dormammu was reduced to taking a
