Tony was cordially invited into the center of the Ravager Sanctuary.
Stakar, the leader of the Ravagers, arrived promptly, and the Ravager bosses gathered around, greeting Tony and his companions with impeccable politeness.
Seated on the Dark Throne, Tony smiled at Stakar across the table. "I want information on Yondu. Do me a favor, buddy."
Stakar's expression was grave. "May I ask what this is about?"
"Oh, I want to kill his son, Star-Lord."
Stakar took a deep breath, steadying his turbulent emotions.
The Ravager bosses exchanged uneasy glances before turning to their leader.
Beads of sweat trickled down Stakar's forehead. His resolve wavered.
He reached down and pinched his thigh hard, then said through gritted teeth, "Ravagers don't sell out their brothers. That's the rule."
Despite all their internal infighting, the Ravagers were united when facing outside forces.
Without that unity, they would never have prospered as they had.
Tony smiled. "I'm showing you respect so you'll know what's good for you, not so you can get yourself killed."
Mephisto and Hyperion rubbed their hands together, itching to get started.
Stakar placed his sidearm on the table. "But we have another rule. If a guest agrees to play a game and wins, I can tell them about Yondu."
Tony raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Go on."
"This is my sidearm. I've set the magazine to four shots and loaded three energy rounds. The contestants shoot themselves. Whoever survives wins."
Tony smiled. "Interesting. I'll give it a try."
The corner of Stakar's mouth twitched at Tony's recklessness.
He had only meant to give both sides a way to back down.
Instead, the man had smashed that escape route to pieces.
Stakar glanced at the subordinates behind Tony and knew trouble was coming.
