Venom did not keep Peter waiting long. Soon, he came to a stop a short distance in front of him.
The two sized each other up in silence.
After a long while, Venom finally spoke. "New symbiote, aren't you going to come out and pay your respects?"
No one answered, and the atmosphere grew awkward.
Although the symbiote on Peter had split off from Venom, it had become a new life after merging with Peter and no longer had any connection to Venom.

Venom grew furious at the lack of a response. In his eyes, the symbiote on Peter had split off from him and should obey him by nature. Ignoring him now was nothing short of treason.

A ferocious roar rang out.
Venom took an aggressive stance.
At the sight, Peter, who had been utterly confused a moment ago, immediately readied himself for battle.

His fist appeared in front of Venom, whipping up a powerful gust that lashed Venom's face.

In his eyes, the new symbiote had a consciousness of its own, just like him. Not only was it ignoring him, it even dared to attack him first. In human terms, that was insubordination.
