Norman's roar made Peter's expression change. He could hear the fear in Norman's voice.
Although he had no idea what had happened, he dared not linger any longer and immediately fled toward the exit of the Life Foundation at full speed.
Scream, who had been pinned down by Peter the whole time, quickly caught on when she saw him fleeing. Her side must have gained the upper hand.
Without a second thought, she gave chase, intent on stopping Peter from escaping.

After Peter escaped the building, Steve appeared on the first floor, with Mania following cautiously behind him.

Having finished off the last two Claw Shadows, Scream stopped and glanced at Steve. "He got away," she said coldly.
At that, Steve gave Scream a long look. In the end, he said nothing and returned to the second floor.
Elsewhere, Peter panted heavily after his narrow escape, still shaken as he glanced back at the Life Foundation far behind him.
He still couldn't understand how they had somehow lost.
Four superhumans, each incredibly powerful, with the Shadowkhan backing them up-Peter couldn't see any reason they should lose.
Before the operation, he had even thought this mission would be nothing more than going through the motions.
Yet reality was strange that way. They had lost.
Although he didn't know exactly what had happened, he could imagine that Norman and the other two must have encountered an enemy they couldn't possibly withstand.
Otherwise, even if they lost, they wouldn't have been wiped out.
Looking away, Peter
