After releasing one final surge of scarlet energy, Wanda crouched on the ground, panting.
"Looks like things are settled?" Rhodey slowly approached in his War Machine armor.
"You, uh... woman from who knows where, you're under arrest!"
Just then, Coulson stepped out with a smile.
"Colonel Rhodes, long time no see."
"You, Coulson? What are you doing here?" Rhodey moved to restrain Wanda with handcuffs while blocking Coulson's view.
It was a rather futile attempt to hide what he was doing.
"Mr. Rhodes, protocol requires you to hand her over to us. Look." Coulson pointed at the wrecked streets around them. "She's clearly dangerous."
Boom-
A blast of scarlet magical energy struck Coulson.
Wanda stood up, panting.
She looked at the somewhat familiar armor before her.
"Rhodey?" Wanda called uncertainly.
Hearing Wanda call his name, Rhodey said, "Hey, looks like she knows me. I think I should take her with me and ask her where she came from."
Although Coulson hadn't been seriously injured, the blow to his chest left him unable to get a complete sentence out.
"Gen... cough, cough..." Coulson struggled to look toward Gen Ohtori.
Gen Ohtori had somehow gotten hold of a hamburger and was chewing away as he watched the show.
"Hmm?" Gen Ohtori gave Coulson, who seemed to be calling for him, an "innocent" look.
"Since nobody has any objections, I'll be going!" With the aircraft Tony had sent over, Rhodey took Wanda away.
The nearby agents quickly took Coulson to a S.H.I.E.L.D. medical station.
