"As for that so-called snap in your universe, which randomly killed half the population, all I can say is that there was far more going on behind it than you realize." Odin patted Thor's back and spoke earnestly.
"More going on?" Fat Thor carefully considered his father's meaning.
Rocket Raccoon, however, was far less pleased.
From what Odin had said, there was almost no chance that the other party would lend them the Infinity Stones.

Odin nodded. "You've already reached the threshold of the Skyfather level. Think carefully. When you touched that level, how many gazes turned toward you?"
At Odin's question, Fat Thor fell into thought. When he had broken through, quite a few gazes really did seem to have turned toward him.
"Those watching you were mostly Skyfather Level powerhouses. Can you remember roughly how many there were?" Odin guided Fat Thor's thinking one question at a time. Seeing him genuinely lost in thought pleased Odin greatly. For a king, the ability to think was essential.
Fat Thor said nothing. His expression grew somewhat ugly, as though something had occurred to him.
Fat Thor spoke with difficulty. "Then a lot of people actually knew about Thanos's plan to snap his fingers, but simply didn't stop him? Some might even have helped it along behind the scenes?"
Odin shook his head. "That is something you must judge for yourself."
Fat Thor quickly pulled himself together. The past could no longer be changed. All he could do now was face the future.
"The Infinity Stones are a matter of great importance. Though I don't know whether the Sorcerer Supreme will lend them to you, you can retrieve the last Infinity Stone first, then decide what to do." Odin
