However, just as Tony and the robot were about to continue down the rest of the path, disaster suddenly struck!
"Attention, attention. Target detected at three o'clock. Target position has changed. Suspected inbound charge. Alert! Alert!" The robot suddenly sounded a warning.
The same warning sounded inside their exoskeleton hazmat suits, startling Tony and Krillin.
The two looked at the robot, which pointed toward a patch covered in Mycelial Mats.
The two men and the robot stood still without making any unnecessary movements. Before long, they saw a round, blood-red monster charge out, its body covered in tentacles, looking much like the Flesh Mountain from a video game.
"What kind of monster is that?" Tony looked at the robot.
Red light began glowing in the robot's eyes. Clearly, it was confused too.
"According to the normal timeline, flesh mountains should not appear at this point in time. However, a flesh mountain has appeared. Running program self-correction."
The robot's eyes went dark, and it simply stood there, playing dead!
What the hell!
Tony and Krillin exchanged a glance. Tony pulled out his gun. It was not time yet; there was no need to use his Zanpakutō.
Boom-
Rat-tat-tat-
A burst of bullets painstakingly crafted with the Zanpakutō tore through the air!
They ripped the flesh mountain apart in an instant!
Yet even after being torn into numerous pieces, the Flesh Mountain could still hop. Its pieces hobbled along, converging deeper within the Mycelial Mat zone.
Krillin glanced at Tony. "Should we just blast them to pieces?"
Tony narrowed his eyes, torn. Should they let the pieces go and follow them, or destroy them here?
Judging by the robot's warning, these creatures should not have appeared yet.
Destroying them was therefore the best choice, but Tony did not particularly trust this robot
