"Tony, something huge has happened!" Pepper said in a panicked voice.
"Easy, Pepper. I'll bet that no matter how big it is, it can't be bigger than what's happening here," Tony replied jokingly.
Tony had already tested how infectious the progenitor virus was. If it were allowed to spread unchecked, the entire world would fall within six months.
Still, there were other powerful figures who would step in to clean up afterward, so things would not spiral completely out of control.
"Tony, Hydra has resurfaced!"
"Hydra? Pepper, are you all right?"

At that thought, Tony continued, "Pepper, I know a little about Hydra. Has something gone wrong at S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
Pepper confirmed it. "Yes! There are Hydra agents inside S.H.I.E.L.D.-or rather, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents inside Hydra! According to the latest investigation, at least seventy-five percent of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s personnel belong to Hydra!"
