With Krillin's earth-shaking snores in the background, Tony finally began drifting off.
It wasn't that Tony had stayed up all night. He'd simply had a sudden flash of inspiration around six in the morning.
He'd climbed straight out of bed at dawn and started tinkering away in the lab.
Tien Shinhan trained very early. He'd probably begun his training around the time Tony got up.
Besides Krillin's snores, there was also the sound of Tien Shinhan pounding a punching bag.
Tony had finally managed to try going back to bed.
But after trying for ages, he still couldn't fall asleep.
Meanwhile, the woman he loved, Pepper, was hesitating outside his door, unsure whether she should go in to see him.
But this was too serious for her to handle on her own. She couldn't keep it from Tony.
In the end, she decided to push the door open and enter.
Already distracted, Pepper was startled by Krillin's snores the moment she stepped inside.
"God, I've heard Krillin snore a few times, but I still didn't expect it to be this loud." Before she'd finished speaking, Tony finally woke up.
"Pepper." Tony rubbed his bleary eyes. "What brings you here?"
A faint look of worry clouded Pepper's face.
"Pepper, this isn't like you. Has something happened? No one at the company should dare give you trouble now." Tony poured himself a glass of expensive red wine and casually took a sip.
Ultimately, Pepper decided she couldn't hide the video from Tony. Still hesitant, she sent it to JARVIS.
"What's this? JARVIS, play the video." Tony put down his glass.
The video began playing.
Tony's expression darkened sharply as he watched.
He saw his father and mother appear in the video!
