"I don't know the inside story either. They said it was strained relationships, clashing ideals, that sort of thing." Krillin explained casually, "Sounds about right to me. Put a bunch of strangers with superpowers together, all with different styles and ideals, and how could they possibly bring out their full strength?"
Tony nodded.
He largely agreed with Krillin. After all, nobody owed anyone anything, so why should they put up with everyone else?
"How did they solve that problem later?" Tony asked curiously.
"Uh." Krillin rubbed his bald head. "They disbanded. Some people went solo, others formed teams with like-minded people, and some recruited temporary help to build teams around themselves. Langya is a loose alliance to begin with. We only came together to watch over those... It's not like we founded a country, so we don't have an army or anything. A few squads are enough..."
Krillin's words gave Tony Stark an idea.
Did protecting the world really mean he had to join that Avengers Initiative?
Surely not.
With his status and connections, he could easily work with the military or police to form a team that protected humanity.
Tony looked at Krillin. Besides, there was already a ready-made candidate right here...

The injured Frank had been wrapped in bandages.
For once, Frank was the one being cared for.
"What were you doing to end up like this?" Jiang Xiang sat nearby, drinking tea with Old Man as he watched Frank's wife remove his bandages.
Old Man had provided a bottle of potion, which had greatly eased Frank's injuries.
Frank gave his wife a look, signaling for her to leave.

Frank said, "I found the mastermind who wanted my whole family dead. I only went to scout things
