Tony felt both grief and unease.
His grief came from losing Obadiah, a man who had been family to him and his father for nearly thirty years.
His unease came from the words Obadiah had left behind before dying, suggesting that something was wrong with the circumstances of his father's death.
Tony was still mourning his uncle.
But more trouble lay ahead.
"Mr. Stark." The half-bald Coulson hurried over.
Coulson had arrived during Tien Shinhan and Krillin's first exchange.
Not long afterward, the United States' newly formed supernatural response force had arrived as well. The unit was so new that even its name had yet to be finalized.
Coulson saw the somewhat bedraggled...
Well, Iron Man, Stark.
"What happened here?" Coulson asked as gently as he could, looking at the devastated ground.
"Obadiah... was controlled by some strange man, and then he attacked me." Tony still did not reveal that his uncle had wanted to kill him.
He glossed over the important part, blaming Sowo without mentioning Obadiah's earlier murderous intentions toward him.
Tony gestured toward the area Tien Shinhan had blasted apart.
Bugs could vaguely be seen crawling there.
Somewhere Tony and the others failed to notice, a distinctly larger bug crawled slowly along.
This bug could also change color.
Its coloring closely matched its surroundings.
Splat-
Jiang Xiang brought his foot down on the bug.
That was the end of the bug.
Although it looked like a simple stomp,
he had actually used both Qi Magic energy and chakra.
Obadiah's attack had come without warning.
At the time, Jiang Xiang happened to be out shopping with Gwen Stacy.
When they saw the chaos near the Stark Industries building, they came over to watch.
