Jiang Xiang and Old Man became entangled with S.H.I.E.L.D.’s investigation of the Wraiths, while Jiang Xiang pursued the Rooster Talisman’s power. After Tewal evolved and attacked the museum, Old Man and his allies defeated it, leaving Nick Fury determined to reclaim the shield’s powers.

• Jiang Xiang began working with Old Man, who taught him Qi Magic, while Coulson brought S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Wraith cases to them and invited them to cooperate.
• Coulson revealed that Hydra had captured and altered Wraiths, while Jiang Xiang sent Freddy’s letter to S.H.I.E.L.D. and Ah Xing identified Freddy as likely belonging to the Wilder Sect.
• Jiang Xiang transferred the Rooster Talisman’s power into a shield bound for a museum, and the Wraith Tewal absorbed its demonic energy and attacked the building.
• Ah Xing, Old Man, Frank, and Coulson entered the museum, where Tewal spoke, demanded weekly sacrifices, and resisted Ah Xing’s gunfire.
• Jiang Xiang reclaimed some of the Wraith’s power as Old Man’s magical beams tore through Tewal, whose remaining soul power flowed into the shield before Freddy appeared and vanished.
• Jiang Xiang restored some Rooster Talisman power to the shield, passed ten thousand emotional value, and postponed summoning his A-rank Fire Demon card.
• Coulson reported eleven agent deaths and five civilian deaths, while Nick Fury considered S.H.I.E.L.D.’s growing pressure and focused on getting the shield’s powers back from Old Man.

Jiang Xiang and his incarnations became involved in supernatural crises, from the Tech disaster and Hulk’s rampage to the revelations surrounding Al Psychiatric Hospital. The hospital’s battle ended with Zuer holding the Dragon Ball and Tien Shinhan demanding it.

• Jiang Xiang and Gwen Stacy survived the Tech disaster, and Jiang Xiang defeated the Evil Eye Lord with a Kamehameha.
• Natasha and Yan Shuangying escaped Insco Town, and Nick Fury learned of the town’s altars and brought Yan Shuangying into S.H.I.E.L.D.’s orbit.
• Jiang Xiang’s Zhang Fei incarnation defeated Hulk, took Bruce Banner away from General Ross, and urged Banner to accept and guide Hulk.
• Jiang Xiang’s clone discovered the Four-Leaf Clover Organization’s experiments at Al Psychiatric Hospital, where Zhui’er freed Billy and found evidence of abuse.
• Krillin told Tony Stark about the Dragon Balls and their wishes as Billy the Beast began tearing through the hospital.
• David and Billy fought outside the hospital while the fanatic’s men intervened, and Tien Shinhan arrived seeking the Dragon Ball.
• Zhui’er exposed the hospital’s information, the fanatic killed Billy, and Tien Shinhan defeated the armed personnel.
• Krillin sent the Dragon Ball to Zhui’er, who showed it to Tien Shinhan when he demanded it.

As Freddy’s games and supernatural threats spread, Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D. hunted the Biter while Jiang Xiang’s network expanded. Tony escaped captivity, learned Obadiah had betrayed him, and announced that Stark Industries would stop making weapons, leaving him uncertain whom he could trust.

• Krillin and Tien Shinhan fought to a standstill over the Dragon Ball, while Coulson secured Zuer’s medical record and Tony offered to cure him.
• Jiang Xiang recruited Ivan Vanko through Dr. Gero, and Ivan’s T-800-1 saved him from armed robbers who had killed his father.
• Freddy’s attacks drew Tony into a supernatural game as Sadako emerged in Stark Tower, and Ah Xing explained that destroying her videotape would not stop her from returning.
• Obadiah hired Freddy to occupy Krillin, and Dr. Gero’s subordinates kidnapped Tony while Ivan kept him captive and challenged him to build an Arc Reactor.
• Natasha’s undercover team found a supernatural mask, while Jiang Xiang opened a Diamond Box and received several powerful items.
• Coulson followed Freddy’s information to investigate the Biter, and he and Yan Shuangying exposed the uncanny creature with Old Man’s potions.
• Frank learned the reason his family had been attacked and set out to retrieve the Ninja Mask for Freddy, while Tony completed his Arc Reactor and escaped with Faiwu’s help.
• Tony reunited with Pepper, revoked Obadiah’s access, and announced that Stark Industries would end weapons production as Obadiah threatened to destroy the company.

Jiang Xiang and the world's powers faced new supernatural threats as the Uncanny Building appeared, Sponge General emerged, and the Dragon Balls drew the attention of governments and Kaecilius. The arc left Kaecilius empowered by the Dark Dimension and in possession of a stolen Dragon Ball, while Nick Fury learned that an 084 item had vanished.

• Obadiah hired Tien Shinhan and later attacked Tony, but Tien and Krillin defeated Sowo, whose bugs had controlled Obadiah and his bodyguards.
• The Ancient One visited Jiang Xiang, asked him to protect Blue Star, and invited him to Kamar-Taj, while Tony asked Jiang Xiang to join a superhuman response team and was refused.
• Freddy summoned the Uncanny Building for S.H.I.E.L.D., where Coulson took on a cleaning commission as outside forces gathered around the site.
• Sponge General spread yellow sponges along the West Coast, repelled the Navy, and revealed its ability to transform matter through Imagination.
• Nick Fury and Coulson formed S.H.I.E.L.D.'s 084-1 Squad, while Tony formed a superhuman team with Krillin and Colonel Rhodes as Dragon Balls appeared around the world.
• Banner and Zhang Fei found the Six-Star Dragon Ball, and a military squad attacked them before Hulk killed the soldiers and a Hydra sniper shot Banner.
• Kaecilius learned the Dragon Balls could grant wishes, stole one from a guarded military base after making a deal with Mephisto, and escaped while the Ancient One confronted Mephisto in the Mirror Dimension.
• Odin considered sending Thor to Blue Star as Hill reported the Dragon Ball theft to Nick Fury, who then learned that an 084 item was missing.
