The next day, dawn was just breaking.
A jet shaped like a Blue-Eyes White Dragon streaked across the sky and landed on the rooftop of the tallest, grandest building in downtown Domino City-the Kaiba Entertainment Company.
Seto Kaiba stepped out first with composed confidence, followed by the diminutive Mokuba, Muto Soryu, and a middle-aged woman.
Ignoring the group warmly welcoming them, Kaiba casually pointed at the people behind him and told the sunglasses-wearing man at the front, "Isono, have someone take those two home, then report on recent developments, especially anything involving the disappearances and memories."
"Yes, Mr. Mayor!" The crew-cut man in sunglasses at the head of the welcoming party immediately bowed.
Kaiba then strode toward the elevator, leaving his younger brother an instruction as he went. "Mokuba, from now on, halt all company research and development except our major spatial teleportation project."
"Huh? Why, Nissan?" Mokuba was shocked.
Kaiba did not answer, his expression dark. Only after they entered the elevator and it began descending did he slowly speak:
"I have my reasons. I intended to settle things with Yugi this time, but instead, I ran into one supernatural phenomenon after another."
"Yeah, those experiences you told me about on the way back were absolutely unbelievable. Who would've thought our world was actually a card? Not only does it have a face-up world and a face-down world, but our negative human emotions can even affect Duel Monsters!"
"That's exactly my point. Our world alone already has all these bizarre occurrences, never mind the other worlds."
