Below, Yusei and the others were locked in fierce, difficult Duels against their robot opponents.
Those machines were peculiar. Each had an enormous head, with a screen on the front prominently displaying the portrait of the person it was facing!
Hovering above them, Tetsuhiro rubbed his chin. "Interesting. There wasn't anything like this in the original story. Is this the world's corrective force?"
"Little Black!"
"Here, Master." Little Black flew out of the bracelet, riding Linkuriboh.
"Kuri, kuri..."
"See those machines down there? Analyze them. Ideally, crack their master control system."
"Ugh, so ugly." The robots offended Little Black's aesthetic sensibilities, and he complained with undisguised disgust, "Not just their looks, either. Their technology is ugly too. This'll be easy."
"Charge, Kuriboh!" Little Black immediately ordered Kuriboh to plunge into the screen on the enormous head of Yusei Fudo's robot opponent.
"What's going on?" Yusei had been in a tight spot. All he saw was a tiny thing flash past before his opponent stopped moving.
A moment later, the Duel field automatically vanished, and he was declared the winner.
Immediately afterward, King Jack, Crow, Akiza Izinski, Leo, and Luca were equally bewildered as they automatically won their Duels.
"What's going on here?"
"Could we have touched their hearts and convinced them to turn over a new leaf?"
"Don't be naive. How could that happen?"
"Of course it couldn't." Tetsuhiro slowly descended. "Looks like the perpetual motion machine still went berserk, forcing the Stardust Particles to absorb too much human desire and negative emotion, giving rise to the Meklord Army."
"Who are you?"
"Something about him feels familiar."
"It's you!" Yusei recognized Tetsuhiro then. A second later, a red, dragon-shaped mark lit up on his body.
The same happened to Tetsuhiro, a sudden flash of red light blazing from him!
Several
