Background / History
Tetsuhiro comes from another world where records describe the Shinobi World’s past and future. He awakens in Hashirama Senju’s body shortly after Konoha’s founding, inheriting both memories and physical abilities. His first proposals include making Madara Hokage and creating a deputy Hokage position, Anbu, a research division, a military police force, and a ninja academy 1 27.
His possession nearly ends immediately when the system exposes it to Tobirama. Tetsuhiro survives Tobirama’s attack by using a one-time trust effect, breaking the attacking sword, and demonstrating Wood Release, although he is left seriously wounded 1.
Tetsuhiro and the original Hashirama remain separate people. They meet in the Pure Land, where Hashirama condemns his treatment of Mito, his intimacy with Madara, and his violent overthrow of the daimyo. Tetsuhiro maintains that he did not deliberately seek to steal another person’s identity, a position he later reasserts against Isshiki’s psychological attacks 27 567.
His political project grows from reforming Konoha into unifying the Shinobi World and then expanding across other worlds. He reports ruling five worlds during his public broadcasts and later reflects that six worlds belong to his empire 379 543 561.
Appearance
Tetsuhiro initially possesses Hashirama’s middle-aged body and is described wearing armor during his encounter with the Tomb-Keeper Tribe. His later transformations add visibly Ōtsutsuki features, which he eventually learns to suppress 118 559 570.
- Imperial clothing: A black robe patterned with golden dragons precedes his Six Paths transformation 559.
- Six Paths attire: White clothing replaces the black robe after he absorbs the God Tree fruit and Isshiki’s ocular power 559.
- Ōtsutsuki features: Grayish-white skin, horns, and three patterned eyes appear in his transformed state 566 585.
- Eyes: His later configuration includes a right Tenseigan, a black left eye with golden bars, and a golden Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan on his forehead 559 569 570.
- Truth-Seeking Orbs: Eight accompany his post-fruit transformation; nine are manifested during his encounters with Kenshiro 559 578.
- Human disguise: Suppressing his chakra returns his skin and all three eyes to a normal human appearance 570.
Personality
Tetsuhiro combines political ambition with a practical concern for people’s safety. He argues that unification can prevent recurring wars, credits collective cooperation for Pangaea Castle’s prosperity, and defines success as giving his family and followers secure, healthy lives. He also values emotion as part of humanity, rejecting Amon’s proposal to eliminate suffering by eliminating human feelings 27 116 397 471.
His compassion is selective rather than pacifistic. He sacrifices vitality to save a defeated opponent, heals would-be assassins, and respects his partners’ decisions to remain in their own worlds. Conversely, he threatens execution for negligence, permits lethal force against stubborn resistance, and brutally punishes violent criminals 17 45 52 117 547 585.
He is playful, theatrical, and frequently irreverent. His humor includes borrowed catchphrases, a rehearsed “Team Rocket”-style introduction, and teasing directed at Madara, Tobirama, and the Demon Slayer Corps. His confidence can become recklessness: he deliberately lets Kenshiro strike his pressure points to study an unfamiliar power system 311 319 546 579.
Tetsuhiro also uses deception and emotional leverage. He invokes the Sage’s authority to support his plans, manipulates Kintaro’s trust through an “uncle” persona, and conceals his real identity from romantic partners until preparing to leave their world. Despite this confidence, accusations about possessing Hashirama’s body expose genuine insecurity 4 497 543 567.
He responds well to worthy opponents and setbacks. Losing to Yoriichi inspires admiration rather than resentment, while his later dominance over Madara and Kaguya does not prevent him from recognizing that his physical and spiritual development still lag behind his ocular and mental power 319 570.
Abilities & Skills

Sage Mode enhances his overall abilities through natural energy. His regenerative capacity draws on Hashirama’s body, sage techniques, and Hagoromo’s yang power.

- Fighting-aura imitation: Analyzes Kenshiro’s circulation routes and reproduces Hundred Crack Fist 579 580.
- Limits: Yoriichi decisively defeats him when he restricts himself to swordsmanship, breathing, and supporting recovery abilities. Transparent World, a domain, and Life Return remain unmastered in their respective training accounts 319 547.
Conqueror’s Haki
- Breaks through an abnormal impulse during his encounter with a blonde woman 459.
- Combines with his cultivated presence, killing intent, and authority to produce an aura that immobilizes Maya 470.
Clones and Genjutsu
- Combat clones: Deploys fifty clones against Might Guy; their destruction transfers pain and sensations of death back to him 17.
- Independent behavior: His clones express personal desires, complain about assignments, and sometimes act against his intentions 208 450 520.
- Concealment and persuasion: Uses genjutsu to hide his presence and to communicate information through illusions 203 577.
- Ethical restraint: Decides against controlling Yusaku with genjutsu after taking Little Black away 422.

Tetsuhiro uses cards both in formal duels and as supernatural tools outside them.
- Monster army: Commands Blue-Eyes dragons, Dark Magicians, Black Luster Soldiers, Sacred Beasts, Exodia, and other powerful spirits 411.
- Shinobi World Deck: Uses ninja-themed monsters, relationship effects, sacrifices, and multiple summoning methods against Z-ARC and Don Thousand 423 425 446.

- Spirit combat: His card monsters use Dark Energy and can fight spirits ordinary people cannot harm 179.
- Combined rule power: Numeron force and duel-rule power help him break the Northern Dipper world’s restrictions 582.
- Limits: Imposed duel rules once disable his ninjutsu, Sage Arts, Truth-Seeking Orbs, card spirits, and physical attempts to escape. Cards also fail to fully block attacks on Amaterasu’s level 291 417.
System and Bond Mechanics
- Bond readings: Measures relationships as percentages, including Tobirama at 81%, Madara at 99% and later 100%, Mito at 97%, and Kaguya at 81% 1 27 32 50.
- Trust intervention: Uses a one-time effect to make Tobirama and later Madara believe him during crises 1 4.
- Ability extraction: Completed bonds unlock opportunities to copy an ability; Tobirama’s completion grants Flying Thunder God 12 32 115.
- Lottery: Awards skills and items with differing rarity, including Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, Six Powers, and an ordinary insecticide 412 458 542.
- Expansion rewards: Subduing the Five Great Nations and moon descendants unlocks a permanent small portal and awards points 32.

- Promotes cross-world training and research while requiring recruits to pass the same advancement examinations as existing students 318.
- Directs institutional reforms, technological integration, military preparations, and the development of resurrection techniques 1 50 80.

Weaknesses and Limitations
- Uneven development: His ocular and mental power outpace his physical and spiritual balance even after acquiring two Divine Arts 570.
- Spiritual strain: Hostile consciousnesses overwhelm him during dark-energy absorption; his perseverance is explicitly weaker than the original Hashirama’s 202.
- Identity insecurity: Isshiki’s accusation that he is a body-stealing thief briefly causes a psychological breakdown 567.
- Sexual distraction: Sexy Jutsu remains effective against him despite his otherwise dominant performance against Madara and Kaguya 570.
- World restrictions: The Northern Dipper world initially reduces his overall strength by 30% while leaving physical abilities unrestricted. Overcoming its restraints requires a costly combination of powers 582.
- Fate-backed attacks: Kenshiro’s attack, reinforced by the world’s invisible force, disrupts his chakra and damages his internal organs 586 588.
- Collateral damage: His strongest attacks can split islands or threaten an entire world; withdrawing the Golden Wheel attack to protect bystanders risks further injury 291 292 586.
- Seasickness: Leaves him initially unable to participate in the Water Country battle 25.
Notable Quotes
“The strong must do what falls to the strong. Only then can the flame be passed down through the generations. Wherever leaves dance, the fire burns on!”
— Defending his retreating subordinates; the narration identifies the latter sentiment as borrowed from Hiruzen 16.
“Cultivation is like swimming against the current. If you don't advance, you fall behind. You can't slack off!”
— Advising Long Wu 45.
“I think it's enough to ensure that my family and subordinates have plenty to eat and wear, and a happy, healthy future.”
— Explaining his definition of success to Kyoko 471.
Trivia
- His inner world initially resembles a modern living room containing a television playing Naruto, figurines, an old computer, and a Knights of Valour arcade machine. It can expand into a cityscape drawn from his memories 118.
- He chooses a saber over a Chinese longsword because of childhood martial-arts fiction and the saber’s intimidating character; its name also reflects his intention to slay Nippon’s demons 458.
- Dragon Grounds inhabitants identify him as an Innate expert because he can fly. This is their interpretation of his abilities, not a documented advancement through their cultivation system 43 46.
- Obtaining the Six Powers does not instantly teach him the techniques: his first explanation to Madara includes an admission that he has not mastered them 542 546.
- His promises of divinity do not establish absolute invulnerability: spatial storms, divine weapons, imposed duel rules, and fate-backed attacks all successfully threaten him 291 417 435 586.
