Chapter Summaries

Zenitsu, Tanjiro, Kanao, Inosuke, and the Demon Slayer Corps fought the regenerating monsters and broke the [Chaos Shield] protecting the King of Pumpkins. As the Hashira rushed to attack, the story shifted to the Shinobi World's side.

• Zenitsu defeated Lady Skull with his new Thunder Breathing technique, and Tanjiro's group helped bring down the [King of the Skull Servants].
• Kanao, Tanjiro, and the others left to answer Urokodaki's request while Inosuke stayed behind to fight [Neo the Magic Swordsman].

• Tetsuhiro told Dawn and Toneri that a king earned people’s trust through his actions and needed to be inclusive, flexible, and attentive to others.

Tetsuhiro restored Hakuji’s memories and persuaded him to join the Empire, where he could atone and work toward bringing his loved ones back; he awoke before Tanjiro and the others as a changed demon.

• Hakuji returned to the dojo and learned that Keizo and Koyuki had died after drinking poisoned well water.
• Hakuji ignored Keizo’s plea not to seek revenge, slaughtered the culprits, and became the demon Akaza.
