"Why did you..."
Yucas looked at Jonas with surprise and confusion, seemingly unable to understand how he knew her name. But she swallowed the rest of her question. At a time like this, dwelling on how he knew her identity was pointless.
"What do you want?"
"I don't want anything. On the contrary, I'm wondering why you're aboard this cruise ship, Miss Yucas."
Jonas's words caught Yucas off guard. She had assumed he knew at least something about the incident, but apparently he knew nothing...?
"I'll overlook your earlier rudeness for now, but from here on out, you must not interfere with anything I do."
Taking a deep breath, Yucas issued a warning:
"I'm carrying out a secret mission for the Peacekeeping Forces. Any attempt to expose my identity will give me grounds to arrest you, so I suggest you behave."
As she finished speaking, Yucas felt his grip on her waist tighten. Her face flushed even redder, and she snapped in embarrassment:
"You...!"
"This is what you asked for, Miss Yucas."
Faced with Yucas's indignant expression, Jonas remained perfectly composed:
"We're at a ball right now. People might get suspicious if we don't do this."

With Jonas putting it that way, Yucas had no grounds to argue. She could only let him keep taking liberties with her.
"Would you mind telling me what mission you're carrying out, Miss Yucas?"
Jonas asked as he held the girl's waist.
"It's none of your business."
Yucas's tone was cold, as though she had no desire to converse any further with this Mr. Jonas.
"I'm also one of the participants in the Chamber of Commerce. If something is going to happen aboard this ship, how could it be none of my business?"
