Outside Ji Yeling's office, several administrative staff gathered together, talking in hushed voices. Their gazes occasionally drifted toward the office door, their expressions betraying a hint of worry and curiosity.
"Have you noticed how irritable Chief Ji has been lately?" a young staff member asked cautiously, his voice barely above a whisper.
Another staff member nodded, looking serious. "Yeah. Ever since that business with Ye Hua and Yue Chen started. This is just what I heard, but apparently it's about those two. Miss Ji seems to have been busy dealing with it nonstop. She looks awful, like she's under a huge amount of pressure."
"I think she's been a little... terrifying lately," another staff member said softly, a trace of fear in his voice. "She's usually strict, but she's always rational. Well, at least she acts like a normal person. Lately, though, she looks ready to explode at any moment. It's scary as hell. Last time I just walked past her, and even though she didn't look at me, I nearly cried from fright."
"Yeah, her eyes... Sometimes I feel like they're full of fire. Not ordinary fire, either. I feel like she's about to turn into some mighty tiger king who rules over flames," the first staff member added. "I don't even dare look her in the eye. It's terrifying."
"Tell me about it. Didn't one of the new staff make a small mistake recently? He went in to ask her how to fix it and got yelled straight out of her office. He burst into tears as soon as he came out and practically got on his knees, begging us to teach him how to fix it because he couldn't survive otherwise. I get the feeling he never wants to set foot in Miss Ji's office again."
