After a while, Ye Mo looked at Ye Chu's face, his hand twitching before he held it back. There was no telling what he was thinking.

Ye Mo accepted the half he offered and took a small bite. "What did you... see in your memories?" He hastily added, "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
Sitting on the floor, Ye Chu took a bite of his apple. "It's nothing I can't talk about. I just got slapped a few times for doing badly on an exam."
