Gu Shang stood frozen beside the bed, at a loss.

Seeing that he still would not get in, the boy assumed he was being picky and recklessly beckoned to him. "Honey, I've showered. I smell lovely."

Gu Shang instantly clenched his back teeth.

In a moment of exasperation, he got into bed, just as the boy wanted.

They lay close together, and the rose essential oil Ji Mingzhu had added to his bath began to make its presence known.

Warmed by the boy's body heat, the sweet, sensual scent of roses gave off a cozy, comforting fragrance. In this soft, spacious bed, it was no different from the most potent aphrodisiac incense in the world.

He raised his knees to give the boy something to lean against.
