The door cracked open softly, and the adorable Witch poked her head in to look around. Felix seemed to want to sneak a peek too, but the Witch pushed his head away. She came in and gently shut the door, then bounded to the bed with light steps. Looking at the two of them under the bedside lamp, Diya quietly watched them for a while, then suddenly lifted the blanket covering them.
"Ah!"
Sonia hadn't even said anything, but Ash cried out in terror instead, quickly covering his vitals. The reason Sonia could be so calm was not that, over those two sticky-sweet hours just now, she had rapidly undergone Metamorphosis into an unflappable adult, but that she was still wearing her bridal gown and was not the least bit afraid of the Witch's gaze.
So when the Witch lifted her skirt to look, her face flushed red with anger and she curled into a ball, hiding in Ash's arms to avoid this hooligan Witch.
