This new Art Spirit was naturally the reward from last night's Void Realm Exploration.
As it turned out, Ash and Sword Maiden's wait had been worth it.
Just before the Vortex was about to vanish, Ash finally saw the map prompt change from "wait a moment" to "charge," and he hurriedly pulled Sword Maiden into the Vortex.
After crossing thousands of miles of sea, what appeared before the two of them was a heavily wounded Fish-Slaying Dragon.
Against this kind of Knowledge Creature, Ash and Sword Maiden naturally had no intention of talking about chivalry. They struck while it was weak and finished it off, bursting out a full five Art Spirits. Unfortunately, there was no Experience Pearl, but all five Art Spirits had their own wonderful uses. It could be called a huge harvest.
The reason Ash had tried every possible way to establish a "transaction" relationship with Igula was precisely because the newly obtained "Scales" Art Spirit gave him plenty of confidence.
"Scales"
"One-Winged Art Spirit"
"Restriction: the Spellcaster must have mastered basic mathematical knowledge such as trigonometric functions, number sequence, and probability theory."
"Basic effect: feeds any effect back to the caster according to a certain ratio."
"Passive effect: greatly enhances the Spellcaster's sense of balance and ability to adjust their center of gravity."
"'Equilibrium exists among all things.'"
At first, Ash had originally planned to use the Scales Art Spirit as reflective armor. He had not thought much of it, but after he left the Void Realm and returned to reality, he suddenly discovered that he could very easily stir up the Scales Art Spirit's Resonance.
Perhaps it was because he was proficient in all the basic mathematical knowledge required by the Scales Art Spirit. After all, those had all been key points on math exams.
