This was actually Li Wei's fourth visit to Cameran Palace.
His last visit had been in December of the previous year, when he had found time to stop by while attending classes at Celadon University.
No matter how many times he visited, the residents of Cameran Palace always welcomed Li Wei warmly.
The Pokémon accompanying Li Wei drew just as much attention.
"Li Wei, come try this!"
"Little Shaymin, this is for you."
"Diancie, there's some for you too!"
Li Wei was promptly swept up and whisked into Cameran Palace to meet Queen Arianna.
"Li Wei, welcome back to Cameran Palace!"
Arianna smiled, her voice gentle. "And welcome to all our Pokémon friends as well."
"Sorry for the intrusion, Your Majesty."
Li Wei nodded with a smile. "I've come to Kanto for the Master League, and I'd like to stay here for a while."
"I'd also like to introduce Victini to Mew."
As he spoke, Li Wei pointed to Victini, who was lying on his shoulder.
Queen Arianna nodded. "Of course. Mr. Philip will certainly be delighted."
The Mr. Philip Queen Arianna mentioned was the castle's head pastry chef, Philip Filet Mignon.
Li Wei had spent a few days learning dessert making from Philip and had made a special visit to see him the last time he came to Cameran Palace.
Although he had never formally become his apprentice, Li Wei still regarded Mr. Philip as his teacher.
Just as Queen Arianna finished speaking,
a figure resembling a little pink kitten appeared out of thin air, silently materializing between Li Wei and Arianna.
"Mew~~"
Noticing that Victini had been startled, Mew covered its mouth and giggled.
Queen Arianna, Housekeeper Granny, and the nearby guards were already used to this, and the corners of their mouths lifted
