they found Li Wei and Steven still tinkering with their computers in the living room.
Several teacups sat beside each of them, making it obvious they had been in it for an all-night battle.
Wen Hui couldn't help asking, "Did you two stay up all night?"
Li Wei yawned. "We sure did."
Wen Hui sighed helplessly. "Don't you have a battle tonight?"
Li Wei waved a hand dismissively. "It's fine. Lucario and the others are the ones battling, not me."
Outside, Lucario suddenly sneezed in the middle of daily training.
Weird. Why am I sneezing in May?
Lucario shook his head in confusion.
Li Wei had already decided which three Pokémon to send out.
Lucario, Arcanine, and Victini-a lineup specifically tailored to counter Steven.
"This is a game we're planning to make. It's almost done."
"All right, then. As long as you're happy."
Wen Hui decided she didn't want to get involved.
"Keep at it, son. I'll get you two some breakfast."
Comrade Leon enthusiastically brought breakfast over for Li Wei and Steven, then sat beside Li Wei, rubbing his hands together.

"Out with it. What do you want to buy?"
He saw the astonishment on his dad's face.
"You figured it out that fast?!"
Li Wei waved the sandwich in his hand.
"Why else would you bring me breakfast? The sun would have to rise in the west."
Leon rubbed his hands together and chuckled. "Hehe, I want to buy a watch."
Leon had spotted a watch he liked a while ago, but his wallet really couldn't stretch that far.
