Li Wei and his companions set off for Arus Forest at dawn.
The road to Arus Forest was hardly arduous. In fact, it was rather pleasant.
On the way to Arus Forest, Li Wei even had the leisure to tell Ash about Xerneas.
"Xerneas is a Legendary Pokémon from the Kalos Region. They say it can grant life."
Princess Diancie shook her head. "It's not just something people say. Dian said so himself."
If not for Xerneas, the elderly Carbink, Dian, would have died in Arus Forest long ago.
Dian even believed he had actually died once, and that Xerneas had given him a second life.
"Dian also said that Xerneas's Fairy Aura could draw out my true power."
Riding on Arcanine, Li Wei nodded leisurely. "That's true too."
Diancie exclaimed excitedly, "Dian really wasn't lying to me!"
"In fact, Diancie is the reason I wanted to find Xerneas."
As he spoke, Li Wei turned to look at his Diancie, who was skipping along just like Princess Diancie.
The two Diancie held hands, keeping pace beside Ash.
Clemont said excitedly, "Since Diancie is a Fairy-type Pokémon too, Xerneas's Fairy Aura should work!"
"Granting life... isn't that a little like Ho-Oh, Mr. Li Wei?"
Ash suddenly looked at Li Wei, his eyes brimming with curiosity.
