But even that had only broken the intact bottle into separate pieces; the body itself had remained undamaged.
That was because the Prison Bottle had been made using the power of Arceus's Water, Fire, and Earth Plates.

And Arceus had said that the Plates were not things that broke easily.
Arceus's avatar had taken the Plates along to crash into a meteorite, nearly knocking himself out of commission,
yet all eighteen Plates had remained completely unscathed.
Clearly, anything connected to Arceus's Plates was exceptionally sturdy.
With the ever-perfect Steven around, there was even less reason to worry about the Prison Bottle's safety.
