Wearing his Key Stone glove, Li Wei stood behind Metagross with his eyes closed.
Not far away, Steven held his Key Stone brooch, another Silver Metagross standing before him.
Steven gently guided them with his words.
"Adjust your breathing. Breathe in sync, and gradually bring your Aura frequencies into alignment..."
Arcanine, Dragapult, Milotic, and Drakloak had all gathered to watch curiously.
Holding Shaymin in his arms, Lucario sensed Metagross's Aura surging.
Aura existed within all Pokémon and humans. The only question was whether they could harness it.
A fierce wind suddenly rose. With the Silver Metagross at its eye, a nearly tangible tornado formed around the field.
"The wind's so strong!!!"
Shiyin felt as though she might be blown away. Her twin ponytails streamed in the wind, and even the skin on her face was pulled taut.
Dayou stepped sideways to shield Shiyin, turning his head to shout, "Everyone, hold on to me and get behind me!"
This was where the hefty trio of Comrade Leon, Dayou, and Incineroar came in handy.
Steven called out, "Now!"
Li Wei opened his eyes and clenched his right fist.
"Here we go, Metagross!"
At the same time, Steven lightly kissed his Key Stone brooch.
"Let the radiance of this stone become our bond!"
The Key Stone set into Li Wei's glove suddenly burst with dazzling golden light.
The Mega Stone on Metagross's hammer-like arm shone with brilliant silver-white light!
The golden and silver-white light intertwined, forming seemingly solid chains that connected Li Wei and Metagross completely.
Steven and Li Wei spoke in unison.
"Metagross, Mega Evolve!"
"Meta!"
Silver-white radiance washed over Metagross's entire body like a tide.
