Just as Li Wei had expected, Ash successfully caught Litten after commanding Pikachu in a battle against Meowth.
Litten had noticed all the care Ash usually showed, and this time, so had Stoutland...
And so, after Rowlet, Ash gained his second major Pokémon in Alola: a future Incineroar.
In Li Wei's office,
Knock, knock-
"Come in."
The person who entered was Kiawe, who often went shirtless.
"Teacher Li Wei, what did you want to see me about?"
Li Wei had no intention of enforcing a dress code or asking Kiawe to put on a shirt.
He motioned for Kiawe to sit. "Have a seat first."
Once Kiawe sat down, Li Wei poured him some tea and asked, "Your family runs a ranch, right?"
"Yes, right here on Melemele Island."
Li Wei continued, "Would it be all right if I brought Ash and the others over? For a lesson."
Kiawe immediately sprang to his feet. "Absolutely! We'd love to have you! Xing'er will be thrilled!"
"Xing'er?"
"Xing'er is my little sister. She's a huge fan of yours!"
"Oh, I see."
"When would be a good time for your family?"
"Anytime!"
Li Wei thought for a moment. "Then let's make it the day after tomorrow. We'll hold our Pokémon breeding class at your place."
"Yes, sir!"
"Also, I'd like to order some Moomoo Milk from your family. You can deliver it straight to the school."
In class,
Li Wei promptly announced the upcoming breeding lesson.
"We'll still meet at school the day after tomorrow, but we'll be heading out for a hands-on lesson. Our destination is Kiawe's family ranch!"
"Hooray!"
"I remember Kiawe's family ranch being really big!"
Business at Kiawe's family ranch was good, so he helped out at home every morning.
