Li Wei nodded. "One theory is that Dracozolt resulted from an incorrect method of reviving fossil Pokémon."
Professor Kukui added, "That's right. Supposedly, it was revived by piecing together fossils from two different fossil Pokémon."
Tests confirmed that this Dracozolt fossil could be revived, and it belonged to Kiawe.
Although the Dracozolt fossil was valuable, it wasn't enough to cause much of a stir. After all, one had already been revived before.
It simply meant that another species had been added to the fossil Pokémon found in the canyon.
Once the canyon's fossil research team had identified it, the Dracozolt fossil was returned to Kiawe.
"Electric- and Dragon-type! That's a great fit for Kiawe!"
Ash, Lana, and the others were all happy for Kiawe.
Though, to be more accurate, it was a better fit for Sophocles.
