Shortly after Li Wei and the others found the Ultra Wormhole and learned the true legend of the Blinding One,
the Ultra Wormhole above them suddenly expanded at an alarming rate.
Then a figure radiating cool moonlight flew out first-it was Lunala!
Before Ash and the others could get excited,
"Look at its condition."
Li Wei's warning drew their attention.
Something was clearly wrong with Lunala.
The light around its body had dimmed, and its flight had lost its usual grace. It looked utterly exhausted.
The Ultra Wormhole rapidly expanded as though invisible hands were tearing it apart, and right behind Lunala
came a being Ash and the others recognized, yet did not.
"It's Solgaleo!"
Kiawe hurriedly stopped the excited Ash.
"No, it isn't, Ash!"
Though it looked very much like Solgaleo, its entire body was covered in angular black crystals.
Its body resembled a prism inlaid with black and gold, with black winglike extensions stretching from its back.
It radiated a suffocating pressure.
It was Necrozma, in the Dusk Mane form it had assumed after devouring Solgaleo.
Necrozma (Dusk Mane)!
"That isn't Solgaleo. More precisely, it should be the Blinding One after losing its power, or UB: Black, as the Aether Foundation named it."
Of course, in Ultra Space, it had a true name-Necrozma.
Its greedy gaze remained fixed on Lunala ahead as it continued attacking.
Prismatic Lasers radiating multicolored light relentlessly struck at the fleeing Lunala.
It had chased Lunala here to devour it as well and restore its own radiance!
"It's already devoured Solgaleo!"
"And it wants to devour Lunala too!"
Li Wei instantly understood how serious the situation was. Lunala was already injured; they could not let it fall into Necrozma's clutches.
"We can't let it get its way
