and wrote up his observations of the Goomy for week five.
So far, none of the Goomy had displayed any special traits, nor had any shown signs of changing.
The good news, however, was that the Goomy had adapted well.
What was more, traces of Steel-type changes could be seen in quite a few of them.
In Li Wei's view, though, these changes were not enough to trigger evolution or a change in type.
Still, this was only the fifth week since Xixi Wetland had been established-barely a month, really-and changes like these were already appearing...
Li Wei was already very pleased with that.
Even if breeding the Goomy took several generations, Li Wei would consider that perfectly normal.
This was not even something they were certain they could accomplish. It was merely an experiment conducted by Li Wei and Professor Rowan.
Neither of them could guarantee success.
Even Professor Rowan could not guarantee that the environment he had created for Hisui Goodra was entirely correct.
But Li Wei and Professor Rowan both agreed
that the environment Hisui Goodra had lived in back then was not as good as the one Li Wei had created.
After all, the environment provided by the Pokémon Theme Park included more than just what Li Wei had observed and recorded earlier...
There were also the crucial Life Jewel fragments, the Iron Plate, and the energy from Jirachi's meteorite.
Of these, the Iron Plate and Jirachi's meteorite were the most important, since both were Steel-type.
