Lìmonè gave a hearty smile. "Let me introduce myself. I'm Lìmonè, otherwise known as Blaziken Mask."
"Li Wei, from the Sinnoh Region. Would it be all right if I called you Uncle Lìmonè?"
Lìmonè waved a hand.
"Of course, of course."
Li Wei then introduced his Pokémon. Lìmonè had fewer to introduce: just Ampharos and Blaziken.
"I run an electrical appliance and repair shop in Lumiose City. My son just took over the Lumiose Gym."
So Clemont had only just taken over the Lumiose Gym?
Then he probably hadn't built Clemontic yet, right?
Still, Li Wei had no intention of stopping him.
That was an inevitable part of the Führer's growth, too.
As for the Gym becoming too difficult to challenge?
Li Wei wasn't challenging Gyms anyway.
Li Wei also introduced his own background. "My family runs a Breeding Center. I help out at home."
Lìmonè nodded. "I know. During the television broadcast, there was a Jubilife Breeding Center sign on the table. My daughter kept talking about it!"
In a rare display of bashfulness, Lìmonè rubbed his hands together.
"By the way, could you help me keep my identity as Blaziken Mask a secret? Please don't tell anyone."
Li Wei nodded. "No problem."
The bull-headed man never took off his mask, after all.
