Lucian glanced at his watch. "It's getting late. Let me treat you to dinner, and we can talk over the meal."
And so, Li Wei and Lucian went to the three-star Snorlax Restaurant on Lily of the Valley Island.
As a three-star restaurant, it also offered restaurant battles, and Pokémon could dine alongside their Trainers.
Although there weren't many people on Lily of the Valley Island at the moment, both Li Wei and Lucian were famous.
They still chose a private dining room.

Lucian's gaze swept over Lucario and Metagross. Observing them up close gave him an even better understanding of how Li Wei raised his Pokémon.
Lucian smiled. "You've raised your Lucario and Metagross exceptionally well."
Lucian had battled Steven's Metagross before.
As for Cynthia's Lucario, that went without saying.
They were longtime opponents.
That was precisely why Lucian had such a clear idea of what well-raised Metagross and Lucario looked like.
Li Wei joked, "Surely you didn't come just to compliment Lucario and Metagross, Mr. Lucian?"
Lucian smiled.
"Not entirely. I heard about you from Cynthia. She spoke very highly of you, so I've wanted to meet you for a while."
"But first there was League business, and then the Master League. I never found the opportunity."
