"Would you like to come to Jubilife City? The breeding center has settled into a routine now, and Elder Uncle and Elder Aunt often come over in the evenings too..."

Red saw him as an online friend and content creator, while Blue viewed him through a breeder's eyes.

"Did you battle him? His Lucario looks really strong, and his Metagross is well raised too, though it only just evolved..."

"We battled once. He was pretty good."

They had battled once using their Arcanine.

"Really?! Who won?"

"I won this time, but he improves fast. Next time, who knows?"

"His tactics and command skills are good, but his greatest strength is his ability to learn. He just doesn't seem to realize it."

Although Li Wei still only had three Pokémon on his team, Blue considered his tactical knowledge more than adequate.

But what pleased Blue most was Li Wei's ability to learn.

Red's eyes lit up with excitement. "Ahh! Hearing you say that makes me want to battle him even more!"

Blue couldn't help laughing. "I'll battle you when I get back. I can try out the Smoked Apricorn Juice I just learned to make while I'm at it."

Blue had gained a general understanding of him. He wasn't as passionate about battling as Red or Blue himself.

Blue thought Li Wei was well suited to being a breeder. He put his Pokémon's happiness and feelings before battling.

Since his Cooking had improved, Li Wei decided to attempt the special dish he had previously obtained-Crab Roe Lion's Head.
