After passing through a tunnel with blue crystals embedded in its rock walls, Ash, Brock, and Lucario emerged into a wide-open space.
Everything here retained its primeval character, just like the Mt. Coronet Foothills, including the prehistoric Pokémon.
Crystals hung in the middle like pendants and chandeliers, illuminating the cavern, while towering stone pillars seemed to hold up the entire space.
Below lay a tranquil pool of crystal-clear water.
Brock pointed at the pool below in surprise. "Omanyte and Omastar!"
Yanma also flitted through the air, skimming the water's surface.

Although Ash and Brock had already passed through an island during their travels where they had encountered Kabuto and other fossil Pokémon.
That proved these supposedly extinct Pokémon might still survive in certain places, especially regions rarely visited by humans.
Like the Kabuto on that island, the Relicanth in the cavern waters, and the Shieldon in the Mt. Coronet Foothills.
The Omanyte and Omastar living inside the rocky mountain of the Tree of Creation were no different.
Looking closely, they could also see an Aerodactyl sleeping on the mountainside opposite the cliff where Ash and Brock stood.
Two more Aerodactyl flew overhead.
An Aerodactyl speeding past glanced at Ash, Brock, and the others, but paid them no mind.
An Armaldo slowly emerged on the far side of the pool.
A Nidoran♀ and a Nidoran♂, already dabbling in young love, watched the Armaldo eat, and the Armaldo picked two Berries and handed them over.
Cradily and Lileep danced together.
Flocks of Swablu, Pidgey, and other Pokémon lived here in harmony.
The Pokémon living here were unusually peaceful.
