That afternoon, Professor Oak and Bill put their analysis of the giant tooth on hold.
With help from Kris and Daisy, they got their research materials sorted out for the time being.
Bill smiled. "I didn't expect a bonus like this. I even get to stay for dinner! Sorry for the trouble."
Professor Oak laughed heartily. "Li Wei and the others doing the cooking are the ones taking on the most work."
Brock and Ash's mother, Delia, would both be coming over to help before evening.
Ash and Brock had already boarded the Maglev Train and were expected to reach Pallet Town around three.
Li Wei shook his head and looked at Bill. "It's no trouble. Didn't you look after me back at Celadon University?"
During his time at Celadon University, Bill had treated Li Wei to several meals and helped record videos for him, then sent them over.
Li Wei had also edited portions of those class recordings and uploaded them to his account.
The videos had been well received, but each one was so long that the view counts weren't particularly high.
That was only low compared to his other Million Views videos, though. Each of these still had hundreds of thousands of views.
Bill scratched his head with a sheepish smile. "That hardly counts as looking after you. You're being too kind."
Li Wei was nearly finished preparing lunch, yet Green still hadn't returned.
Professor Oak wondered aloud, "What's taking that boy so long?"
Just then, Green returned carrying bags of all sizes.
Daisy and Crystal quickly stepped forward to take them from him.
"That's a lot of stuff."
"Ingredients I picked up in Viridian City on the way."
Daisy asked curiously, "Didn't you say you asked Blue to help buy them?"
