Cynthia had finally had a little more free time over the past two days.
Between the Champion Challenge, the Master League, and all the Pokémon League meetings, Cynthia had been incredibly busy lately.
Steven could wander around whenever he pleased because he had stepped down as Champion entirely.

Though occasionally, Wallace would hand his Champion duties back to Steven and take Winona off on a trip.

could afford to be that carefree.
So Cynthia occasionally wondered when her younger sister Roland would beat her and become the new Sinnoh Champion.
It had been a while since her last visit, and Cynthia immediately noticed the changes at the Breeding Center.
It wasn't just the surroundings that had changed.
There were more people, too-not just customers, but employees as well.
The blonde woman in a black trench coat, sunglasses, and high heels drew the attention of quite a few new employees.
After all, her outfit looked exactly like something Sinnoh Champion Cynthia would wear.
Cynthia took off her glasses and greeted her. "Mizuki."
Mizuki simply nodded, showing little reaction. She had seen Cynthia plenty of times by now, after all.
"What brings you here?"
Cynthia smiled. "I've finally finished everything, so I came over as soon as I had time."
Cynthia hadn't told Li Wei she was coming. She wanted to surprise him.
Mizuki nodded and pointed toward the Breeding Center. "Go find him yourself. I still have to show the new employees around."
"All right."
Cynthia put her sunglasses back on and nodded to the employees.
The new employees blinked, exchanging looks.
