Quite a few diners recognized them, but without a word exchanged, all refrained from bothering them.
The restaurant owner came over to apologize to Li Wei and Cynthia for the photos getting out.
"It's all right," Cynthia said softly. "It wasn't your employees who shared them, after all. Please don't worry about it."
Even if they hadn't known Aoli was the one who had shared the photos, they would not have held the restaurant responsible.
They hadn't booked out the entire restaurant, so they had already considered the possibility of being spotted.

The restaurant owner rubbed his hands together. "Please, you must let me treat you to today's meal as an apology."

The owner smiled apologetically. "Not at all, not at all. If there's anything wrong with the food, I hope Mr. Li Wei can offer us some pointers."
Li Wei nodded. "There actually is. If you really want to hear it, I'll tell you."
