Li Wei made his way to the power plant's main control room without any trouble.
There were obvious scorch marks here, and the walls were pitted with holes.
Though quite a few Ghost-type Pokémon lived here, none showed any intention of attacking Li Wei.
That was probably because Li Wei's lineup was simply too impressive...
None of them dared make a move unless they had some real strength.
Li Wei had already found a few things of interest in the Abandoned Power Plant.
Before reaching the main control room, he had found some blueprints for a wind power plant in one of the rooms.
Li Wei wasn't sure whether they were useful. He would find out by asking the relevant experts once he got back.
Just then, boom, boom, boom-
A series of explosions caught Li Wei's attention.
The blasts shattered the forest's silence.
The sounds weren't coming from the Abandoned Power Plant.
They came from the abandoned houses farther down the mountain!
Li Wei and Lucario's expressions turned serious at the same time.
It wasn't just Sirfetch'd and Dragapult he was worried about.
If anything happened to Ranguo, Li Wei wouldn't bear any legal responsibility, but he certainly wouldn't be able to eat or sleep in peace.
Fortunately, he had left Sirfetch'd and Dragapult there. Nothing too serious should happen.
"Corviknight! Metagross!"
Corviknight and Metagross understood immediately and lowered their flight altitude together.
Li Wei, Shaymin, and Diancie jumped onto Metagross's and Corviknight's backs.
"Arcanine, Lucario, head down the mountain!"
"Awooo!"
"Luca!"
Arcanine had already shot forward like a cheetah, racing toward the explosions.
Lucario followed close behind, moving so fast that only a blue afterimage remained.
Neither Arcanine nor Lucario slowed on the descent, paying no heed to the branches
