July 27.
Jubilife Pokémon Theme Park.
With Pokédex Rotom in tow, Li Wei walked past the Little Ranch, Swan Lake, and the Fossil Museum,
then crossed the grassland reserved for herbivorous Pokémon, where Rapidash and Galarian Rapidash galloped.
He watched Rapidash and Galarian Rapidash race across the broad, flat grassland.
It was their favorite daily activity.
By comparison, Tauros, Miltank, Wooloo, Gogoat, and Mudsdale seemed remarkably sedate.
Li Wei set up a livestream giveaway.
"Who do you think will win, everyone? Guess right for a chance to win a prize."
"The prize is a Galarian Rapidash plush made with shed Galarian Rapidash hair."
Pokédex Rotom added, "We'll pick five lucky viewers from everyone who guesses correctly, roto!"
"Moo~"
Seeing Li Wei approach, the lead Tauros brought a herd of Tauros over to him.
"Why are its horns so big?"
Once the lead Tauros stood in front of Li Wei,
the difference between its horns and those of the other Tauros became especially obvious. They were noticeably thicker and larger.
"Because a Tauros's horns reflect its strength.
"If you encounter a Tauros in the wild, one look at its horns will tell you how strong it is."
Li Wei still remembered seeing Professor Oak's Tauros.
It had the largest horns of any Tauros he had ever seen.
Watching Li Wei interact so affectionately with the Tauros,
a female visitor ventured,
"Can I pet it?"
Li Wei nodded. "Yes, but stroke it in the direction its fur grows, like I'm doing. You can touch its horns too."
"I actually touched it! They're so rough!"
"Why are there so many injuries on its horns?"
Someone in the livestream chat happened to ask the same question.
"Good question. Those are its battle honors. The more scars on its horns, the braver and more battle-hardened
