Dawn noticed a Galarian Ponyta that looked a little frail.
The Galarian Ponyta had not actually been bullied. It was simply feeling a little weak.
The reason for its weakness was that it had used its power to heal the Pokémon in the woods.
Galarian Ponyta's tiny horn held tremendous energy, which it could use to heal other Pokémon.
Feeling sorry for it, Dawn crouched down and tried to entice the Galarian Ponyta over with the Poffins she had made.
Time slipped by.
In the distance, Ash and Korrina were excitedly trying to lure Rapidash over with fresh Berries, with Pikachu and Lucario helping them.
Around Dawn, however, everything was quiet.
That also had to do with the difference in temperament between Rapidash and Galarian Rapidash.
Rapidash were more energetic and liked running, while Galarian Rapidash were quieter and preferred taking walks.
It was so quiet that Piplup and Dratini did not dare make a sound either, waiting silently.
Piplup even covered its mouth and held its breath.
At last, Ponyta seemed moved by Dawn's patience and kindness.
It took one tentative little step forward, then another, slowly approaching Dawn before lowering its head to sniff the Poffin in her palm.
Dawn held her breath, not daring to move.
Ponyta extended its soft tongue and gently licked the Poffin. Its eyes brightened at the sweet taste.
The aroma was nothing special, but the flavor was exactly what Galarian Ponyta liked.
Dawn finally relaxed.
Li Wei, Brock, and Professor Rowan had all said that as long as a Pokémon was willing to eat, there was probably nothing seriously wrong.
