The night of the full moon.
Fullmoon Island was a small island covered in forest.
Although Darkrai had gained some initial control over its Bad Dreams Ability with Yellow's help,
it might still need the power of its counterpart, Cresselia, to consolidate that control.
That was their primary objective.
Their second was academic research: collecting precious data on Cresselia.
To find Cresselia, Li Wei and the others had flown here on Corviknight.
Li Wei, Cynthia, and Lucario walked across Fullmoon Island.
The island was lush and green, and the sea breeze sent the leaves rustling.
Li Wei swept his gaze around, spotting a path leading deep into the forest.
Lucario led the way as the two followed the woodland path toward the center of the island.
The deeper they went, the thicker the mist became, yet moonlight filtered strangely through gaps in the foliage, illuminating their path.
Pink mist began drifting through the air, like the murmurs of sweet dreams.
There were quite a few Pokémon on the island.
Along the way, they saw many Munna and Musharna sleeping peacefully.
They were curled up beneath the trees, seemingly enjoying wonderfully sweet dreams.
Looking at the faint pink mist, Cynthia said thoughtfully, "It really is a little like Fairy Aura..."
At that moment, Li Wei rather regretted not bringing Diancie.
If Diancie were here, it could tell them whether that was the case.
Lucario, however, told Li Wei that it did not seem quite the same.
Lucario's powerful Aura made it more sensitive to this.
Although Li Wei had awakened his Aura, he still could not compare to Lucario at present.
