Olivine Town, festival grounds.
Olivine Town lay east of Mt. Coronet, near Sunyshore City and even closer to Lily of the Valley Island, so Cynthia had arrived quickly yesterday.
Last night, Li Wei had arrived with Blue and Yellow, followed by Lt. Surge with a whole boat packed full of people.
Unfortunately, they still had no idea who the mystery guests were.
Despite Crystal's best efforts, she had failed to find any trace of them.
Compared to Cynthia and Li Wei, who had appeared openly, those other two mystery guests were indeed very mysterious.
As for the third mystery guest, they had guessed correctly: Lance, who rarely missed a chance to join the fun.
Olivine Town had been bustling these past few days.
That was partly because of the upcoming three-day All-Around Competition, and partly because of the Pokémon Contest.
Now, the place was filled with the flavor of Johto. Even Olivine Town's sea breeze seemed to carry a nostalgic hint of the Johto Region.
The harbor plaza and main streets had been carefully decorated, with Stantler- and Girafarig-shaped ornaments everywhere.
Wind chimes from Sprout Tower hung on every street corner, ringing crisply in the breeze, while enormous banners fluttered overhead.

As the morning competitions began, the Johto Culture Exhibition was also in full swing.
Li Wei had no events that morning. He had only signed up for a handful, including riding, water riding, and speed events.
Cynthia had signed up for an event too.
It was just... an eating contest.
As far as Li Wei was concerned, as long as Cynthia was happy.
This All-Around Competition was rather special. Besides the original five major categories, it also featured some special events.
