Through a mirrored decoration in the real world, Ash and the others returned to reality one after another.
Before they could even celebrate their return, a new crisis descended upon them.
Dozens of Magnemite and several Magneton surrounded them.
Hovering in midair was a silver-haired man riding a flying device, with only his left eye exposed.
"Hand over that Shaymin."
Dawn looked down at Shaymin in her arms.
"Shaymin, do you know him?"
Shaymin shook its head vigorously. "I don't know him!"
Brock said gravely, "He doesn't look like an ordinary Trainer..."
That wasn't to say Ghetsis was a particularly powerful Trainer, but rather that he seemed to be something like a Pokémon Hunter.
Ghetsis's approach didn't look like he was trying to catch a Pokémon at all. It looked more like an arrest.
Especially when it came to a Pokémon as rare as Shaymin.
"In that case, Magnezone, Mirror Shot!"
A metallic sheen flashed across Magnezone's body, followed by a dazzling burst of white light.
This was Mirror Shot-a move whose dazzling light had a chance of lowering the opponent's accuracy!
Shaymin was quite formidable when arguing with Ash.
But in a crisis like this, it still had to rely on him.
"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"
"Pika!"
Boom-
Mirror Shot and Thunderbolt collided in midair, erupting into a thick cloud of smoke.
The Magnemite caught in the blast were knocked out as well, falling to the ground.
"Run!"
Seizing the opportunity, Ash and the others immediately took off running.
For one thing, Shaymin still needed to reach the Gracidea Flower Field. For another, there were simply too many opponents.
"Piplup, Whirlpool!"
