A shadow tore open in the world of nothingness.
Through that shadow, murky white mist came into view.

Giratina was about to let out an angry roar, but Li Wei stopped the Pokémon with a raised hand.

To Darkrai's surprise, Giratina actually stopped attacking at the sight of Li Wei's raised hand.

Meanwhile, Cynthia and the others had also reached Mt. Coronet.
With the Pokémon on Mt. Coronet running wild, Cynthia chose to quell the unrest first.
Only then would she search for the entrance to the Distortion World.
Darkrai watched Giratina's movements, utterly bewildered.
Giratina turned that enormous head slightly, slowly raising a claw to point at a nearby sheet of ice as smooth as a mirror.
Then Giratina awkwardly pointed the claw at Shaymin in Li Wei's arms.
Next, Giratina looked up at the twisted rift in the sky that led to the real world.
Giratina repeated those movements.
Tap the ice, point at Shaymin, then point at the real world.
By the second demonstration, Li Wei understood.
"Shaymin can help you get out of here?"
Giratina nodded vigorously.
According to Giratina, Shaymin could open that rift by using Seed Flare.
As Giratina explained, Li Wei gradually recalled the plot. It did seem that Shaymin's Seed Flare had torn open the rift.
